Yeah, I'm not into the 2 member band thing either. They may have some cool riffs but the lack of the dimension a good bass player would give them makes it get old. After his initial funky blast w/vocals it got old quick. Especially with such anemic drums.

Feel the same way with the Black Keys and the Royal Blood.

But these two vids from Royal Blood are awesome…as video's. Now studio recordings can apply all kinds of overdubs to fill it out but live, I don't like these bands

I admit the guy has a unique talent but I can't listen to more than 10 seconds of it. Perhaps if there was a bass player and a better vocalist in the mix And they played 80's style metal I'd like it better?

I like it. It's solid. His voice was good, but I'd rather had him sing Japanese. The English phrasing was too robotic.
