Tough for me to choose just one but I'd probably go with a R7 or BB7 for the neck profile. Not the best lookers but they are the toughest to put down once you plug in and play.

Goldtop to me is ugly, don't care for the color much but tolerate on LP's. This thing just has unexplained mojo going in feel, playability and tone.

My 1969 Gibson Les Paul Standard Gold top. It just plays and sounds like a dream.

Hands down my #1 guitar is my Ibanez RGA121. I believe I've had it since 2006 Has 95% of what I need to have in a guitar. Mahogany body with Maple Cap, fixed bridge, paper thin neck, and really decent tone. The only thing I'd reallllly like out of it is a maple fretboard and stainless frets. When the time comes to replace the frets, I'm thinking about redoing the whole board. I really need to get better pics.

First got it:

I haven't had too many really nice guitars. Some old Jacksons, BC Rich and Ibanez mostly but for me, my all time favorite is the ESP in my sig.

Is the nicest guitar I have owned and my Ibanez has been vaulted.

My MIJ Jackson Dinky Pro XL. I bought it new for $700 in 1993 when I was in college. I still have it and every time I play it I remember why I started playing over 30 years ago. It's not my main guitar anymore but I'm glad to still have it and I should bust it out more often.

Out of all the guitars I have here in the studio, this is the one that leave the biggest smile on everybodys face.
It's an original 1951 Esquire(neck date is Jan 51, body date Dec 50).
In 13 years of vintage guitar dealing in Los Angeles I've only heard one other tele that was more pissed off than this one, and it was an original Broadcaster.
My favorite out of evrything I've already owned.

Oh man, that is so killer !

we need more threads like this.....it's giving me some serious wood

Early 90's Manson custom, just love it - has had the shit beat out of it over the years and still going strong:

This is my first guitar, so I suppose that makes it #1 of all time. I don't play it much, but it isn't even worth trying to sell.

The purple one in the middle...nothing touches it

These are sweet man. Dude, they have a serious slant on the neck pickup goin on. Badass! Like the way the headstock looks on these! You can stab any mosher's that get out of line with it!

Haha, yea these are the real deal. I LOVE high end acoustics but I am a paranoid fuck about the up keep with climate changes and I hate leaving them locked up in the case with humidifiers etc...This thing is immune to that stuff and sounds freaking amazing. The bad??? New is a boatload of cash, resale is shitty if your into doing that.

My newest addition is my favourite. It's an Epi Bjorn Gelotte LP Custom. Played like butter right out of the box. 59 neck, ebony fretboard, Grover tuners, EMG 81/85's, carve top. Love it, especially for metal.
