I use the DL8000R, but starting now to understand how to set it. Am a bit confused how to use the WARP!
Start checking those factory presets using the WARP knob!
The concept is about patching a parameter or multiple ones to that knob and setting the scaling (min/max values for the parameter). Along with the user manual you will get it.
A simple application is to patch feedback to WARP so that you can have any amount of feedback you like, less or more.
Or you could patch delay levels.
Something a bit more advanced...
say you create a 4 voice chorus with the first 4 delays and a flanger with the other 4. You can use the WARP to switch from chorus to flanger and back.
Just patch the levels of the first 4 voices as min=0/max=100 and the inverse scaling for the other 4 voices. Warp will smoothly crossfade between chorus and flanger.
You could also make the WARP work as a switch changing the patching min/max so that 1 click of the WARP kills the chorus and starts the flanger.
You can do a LOT with the WARP!
