don't know how if these guys count, but I absolutely LOVE this band......

such a shame they never caught on, fucking great tunes, great singer, etc,,,,

King Diamond for me..... Andy Laroque and later on Mike Weed as well. Awesome players... Mickey Dee, Snowy Shaw.. a history of great drummers too!

I really liked Tommi Inkila's (a great dude from the Harmony Central Forums) Band

Scenery Channel was/is the name of the band. I have the CD

^^^^

Oh no, not that video. I can't watch, I absolutely can't handle the feeling of feeling embarrassed for someone

But for serious....there are A LOT of local bands that I have fallen in love with. My favorite is a L.A. based band named Opus Dai. Especially with their former singer Chris Paul. Still like them now but their style is quite different.

my favorite "unpopular" band would have to be soulidium. saw them live a year or so ago an loved the live show. nothing flashy but they have solid tunes with good grooves. i dont know how unpopular they are but they arent signed by a major label

This. It seemed big when I was 12 years old watching Buzz Clips on Alternative Nation, but they never really took off after the alt scene. Great band.

Tanya fuckin' beats on that SG too. This is the only reason I have ever wanted an SG.

Here's the one that blew my mind. I've never heard another song like it. Awesome octave chord run near the beginning. Lots of Chorus. Killer Harmonies. Strange pace. Cool tempo change after intro. Tanya is hot. etc.

another one:

King's X....although, most ppl here probably know and like them.

Rush

They get no love. Neil Diamond is a better rock and roller than they are according to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame....

Never understood that. Was 2112 and Moving Pictures not good enough...

For me it would have to be the Tragically Hip. Huge in Canada but barely known in the US and the rest of the world.

and the list goes on and on and on...

Belly and the Tragically HIp Rule, road apples was a stellar cd!
I Like matthew Sweet alot, And there are Tons of local Metal bands I dig.
My fav not huge band?
Hmmm
Prob these guys

AND OF COURSE.
This is the best song ever created.
