Neurosis and clutch are little known???
those dudes always sell out here lol

Liquid Gang from the Philadelphia area. No shred guitars, but great tunes, awesome live energy, & my #1 favorite vocals. They had a contract, opened for Korn, dropped after 6 months....this industry sucks

Katatonia....great Swedish band that not many people know about here in the States. I'm not a big drumming guy but their drummer is strikingly good(see "Follower" below).

Kingdom Come...never got much love due to 'clone' status.
Wolfsbane....loves me some howling mad shitheads
Little Angels...yes, I'm from the UK :-)

Back in the late 80`s it was definately this band from Seattle...I love a good 3-piece band!!

TGCD is a fine, fine album from them. Very underrated.

So favorite unpopular band? Aside from my own project? *grins*

These guys.. Stone's Reach just floors me every time I listen to it:

And these gals:

wrathchild america/souls at zero. they used to come though ft.worth and dallas all the time in the late 80's/early 90's. shannon larkin is an AMAZING drummer. scott shelby from warbeast and i got to jam/rehearse with shannon when he was gearing up for the "replacing dave lombardo the first time" auditions in 88 or so. i still spin those cd's at least once a month.

but i am also gay for the josie and the pussycats movie soundtrack, so you should probably not listen to anything i say.....

Good call. Funny that everyone is alway's saying how they like KSE better when he was there but there's never any talk of his work with Seemless.

Great stuff! Brad Hull was a big influence back in the day.

Not to be confused with Sacred Reich of Arizona, also around in the 80's.

Although Bruce Dickinson is popular as Iron Maiden singer, his solo project isn't. So here is my number one unpopular band:

Second one is true gangsta metal band with one and only Ice-T. Its Body motherf*****g count

There are many more "unpopular" bands which I like, but these are my favorites
