HSAS-Through The Fire

Cool, in the top 5.

I wore that cassette out. I mean, WORE it out back in the day.

GIIIIIIZZZZZZAAAAAAA!

(Hagar rules)
Neal Schon is my all time fave; he never ceases to amaze me and he really shines on that album, Its gotten regular play since the day it came out...

I was surprised at this also.
I love that album, that writing on my cassette is gone too.
Every riff and solo Neil plays, is a song within a song.
The opening riff to, "He will understand" floors me.

And the Rippin' Neil does on "Valley of the Kings" is SICK!!

Neal Schon is a melodic/phrasing genius, his meter is impeccable and he never loses sight of the tune, no matter how much hes burning away, the song always comes first. I truly think hes the most criminally overlooked player of all time, easily one of the best rock guitarists ever, a living legend... yes, Im a fanboi..

I bought a VHS copy of that HSAS concert off of Ebay a few years back.

Very cool. Cool enough to look past the fact that you're looking at VHS quality.

I also found an old Hagar concert from St Louis in '83 that basically turned me onto him when I saw it on MTV one night. Dude just put on a serious show and that made me a fanatic. It had been 20+ years since I'd seen it and once I found it on Ebay it was as badass as I remembered.
