Maiden 1985 powerslave tour, Radio City Music hall NYC :worship:
My biggest concert regret.....
Maiden on the powerslave tour....with Accept as an opening band in my hometown.

AC/DC Who Made Who tour, with Queensryche opening. Had backstage passes for the show too.

Megadeth with COC opening in Belfast, NI. Nearly got trampled to death in the pit lol I was only 13

I think mine was The Monsters of Rock. My friends and I had really good seats at the Meadowlands in NJ. We made a huge banner the night before where I drew the band, especially EVH with his guitar and blowing smoke rings or something. We tied it into a ball and threw it towards the stage. People kept taking it and opening it and looking at it. We kept screaming for them to throw it to the stage. When it eventually got to the stage, a security guy confiscated it. We were pissed. At that point, so many people saw it, Sammy wanted to see what was up and took it from him and opened it up and loved it. He held it up and then draped it around EVH, who came up the path to where we were sitting.) It was pretty cool for a first concert. We were too young to drink or smoke but were covered in beer and smelled like weed from all of the people around us. My friend's father's face was priceless when he picked us up.

Bad Company

I was maybe...11- 12 years old. I was just getting into music but was still such a noob I was hoping they would do FreeBird.

Metallica
Queensryche
Faith No More
Soundgarden

Same as the op (Yngwie opening up for ACDC), Atlanta, only I think it was late 1984 for me (still have the stub, must dig it out), not sure of the ACDC tour/album or if Malmsteen toured with them on other occasions, etc, I just remember it being '84 for some reason. Those mental images of being front row and witnessing the Ying in his prime doing his thing are burned into my memory. I couldn't even comprehend it at that age, lol, I thought he was 'lip-sync guitaring' or cheating at first! ACDC was cool too.

I think it was 1982, or 1983 Men At Work - with a relatively unknown group from Australia opening for them. They called themselves The Inks, but they spelled it INXS.

1983 Indiana State Fair: Stray Cats- Rant and Rave Across America Tour! ..still got the shirt lol
