Blur at Roskilde Festival... a few 12 years ago I believe.
Someone picked me up and then I started crowd surfing... Didn't know what the hell was going on. I landed at the front in a mosh pit full of Hells Angels... All good fun and games

From that day, I knew I wanted to play the guitar.

First concert was Kiss in 1976 with Uriah Heep opening for them at Met Center BLoomington MN. Changed my life starting saving money for a Les Paul the next day.

Hey! I was at that show. I don't remember it though. Damn those 16oz Schlitz Malt Liquors!

My first show was a few years earlier. Blue Oyster Cult at the Met Center in Bloomington. Rush opened and played 2112 which I believe had just been released.

Ozzy Osbourne
Bryan Adams
Gary Moore

My son, who is six, will be attending his first concert in just a couple of months. i'm taking him to iron maiden on june 9th with vip seating so he can see and hear everything.

I think it was back in '99..

AC/DC with Megadeth as the opening band! What a show!!
Was that in Milton Keynes Dan? If so that was in 2001, they did not tour in '99. Didn't mean to be picky. :D

Hey Arild, you are correct!! It was in '01, not '99. Man that was one hell of a show when AC/DC came on that night

Thin lizzy at sophia gardens in cardiff cant remember when, a loooong time ago
I started playing guitar after hearing them....

1st show - either Drivin n Cryin on the Smoke tour or Ugly Kid Joe on America's Least Wanted. UKJ was damn good!!!

1st big show - Pearl Jam on Vs.

1st show that really blew my mind - Megadeth at Red Rocks!!!

Ugly Kid Joe is one band I really WISH I HAD SEEN!! :bash:
Love their stuff.
Anyone else hear their Version of AC/DC Live Wire? It kicks ass.......

i love king of the hill by the way. best cartoon ever!

Van Halen - August 1981 Maple Leaf Gardens - Fair Warning Tour...
Awesome concert!!!!!! They seemed to rule the world at that time... they'd just stand there between songs looking at each other smiling, and the cheering was deafening.

Met Eddie Van Halen - he reached for my hand and missed it - then put his arm around me - I guess my body was an easier target - He was drunk and coked wayyyyy gone!
Maybe that's why he was so fast back then!! heheheh... ;)

Kindof a letdown... in a way.
I was 16 and he was my hero.
Keith

Stryper- in god we trust tour.
I think i was 12 yrs old, oz fox kicked ass.
