If "wylde" mApz are anything like his guitars kill it w/ Fire.

I could be wrong, but its probably just a JCM 800 clone with possibly the typical, cliche Marshall mods from 30 years ago like the JEL, dookie, etc...... HAHA
Anyone can do that - clone an amp & make their own head cab design.

Lol both Jason and Zakk's tech commenting it's not his

I saw that. If Jason is telling you something, you should listen. This FB guy is either trying to scam or he's obtuse.

I need to visit that shop; just a couple hours north of me.

I don't care about that amp at all but otherwise that dude is constantly stocking incredible and obscure gear

Its a great shop and owner is very nice. He has some unique, rare, and amazing gear often. The amp in question here though sounds amazing. Ive seen and heard it. Now i can understand the scrutiny and dont understand the price on it. But i do know he is now trying to verify it and get all the stories from who built it and for what company etc….maybe he finds out he bought a fake? Maybe he finds out it is indeed legit? He said he will publish his findings whether he is right or wrong soon. So thats good in my eyes.

He's got a George Lynch owner Bogner Uberschall for the low low price of only $12,000.

Hey, i have a Jem dbk! Was disappointed with the way it played until just a few years ago when I figured out the bridge studs were locking and adjustable to drop down even further. Action is insane on it. I haven't looked em up in a while, wonder what they go for now.

If it is a Zakk Wylde amp then it's literally just a JCM800 with 6550s. Outside of the tube swap he runs it stock.

He has lynch caswell modded marshall also. Sounds great. He has some things priced high i think because he really wants to keep them for himself. But if someone was to pay a high price then he may sell. That is my thoughts based off fhe caswell lynch marshall. I know he has had insane offers on it and yet he decides to keep it. Again thats just my opinion.

I picked this up when I was 19 I think. I was able to meet Vai and have him sign it some years later. Its a monster of a guitar. Mine has the Edge that I prefer as opposed to the newer one some were equipped with.

I can clearly see the entire circuit from that video. It's a basic Marshall clone. Nothing more. I didn't look too closely at the cap/resistor values in the three gain stages, but doesn't matter. Maybe slightly revoiced from a stock JMP. But it's nothing more than that. Maybe worth $1200. I don't care who built it.

Chassis and board look like they're from Ceriatone. Iron also looks like Prometheus (Ceriatone). Even if Ceriatone didn't build it, someone obviously bought one of their kits and put it together. Decent work.

lol at the guy saying it looks like the work of Hiwatt... Just looks like a typical Ceriatone build.

First stage unbypassed. Can't make out color codes.
Second stage is maybe brown/black/red or brown/black/orange, bypassed with 0.68uF (maybe 1uF, can't quite see).
Both couplers are 0.022uF
100K plates
Third stage is unbypassed 820R
Passive insert loop just as Ceriatone does it.
Everything else is stock Marshall clone

So yeah it's a run of the mill JMP kit with fancy headshell.

I think Vai has a much better chance of selling his home for 11 million than this guy does getting 35,000 for that amp.

Not even that. There are no "mods". It's a stock JMP circuit.
