Bad ass. Thanks for the vid.

I assume the cut box is for solo "boost": it cuts the volume when activated but when disengaged it lets the full volume through. Gives the effect of a solo boost. Really the only way to get an effective solo boost with a Soldano, but it seems like a good idea with other amps, too. Apparently works well with the Marsha/Brown Eye amps.

Actually it is in front of the amp to clean it up. It's in a loop so it cleans it up like your volume knob on you guitar. So when the loop is in its cleaned up to certain setting.

Cool, thanks Dave! He sounds killer. I think I might like the live tone from the Kimmel vids more than the studio tracks.

Damn, I wonder where he sets the gain on the pissed off? I don't even use my JBE on my kitchen sink due to all the gain so cannot imagine that and the satch switch engaged

Hey Dave, wern't those 50 watt Marsha's with KT-88's ???

As far as the amps. They were 50 watts and now are current spec. 100 watts. They also have a full vox/fender hybrid style clean. The neither of the amps has a HBE just the ability to do the JBE which is a sat switch with another thing to shift the bass freq. lower in the resonance circuit. Oh and tubes are jj el34 tubes.

Awesome. I'm hoping to catch them when they come to town on May 5th. I'd love to hear that rig in person.

Saw them on the last tour.. The best tone ive heard live. Just amazing. Im sure this will be just as good.i always find it strange when the guitar techs switching effects on and off ...lol

Great stuff, thx for posting Mark & Dave!

Love the EVH cabs as monitors solution btw ;).

I saw them on the last tour and the mix was WAAAAAY off. The guitars were at EAR BLEEDING levels and you could hardly hear the vocals. Hopefully they correct that this time around...
