That's friggin cool! I never knew that existed. I saw some of the early Marshall's he built for GL but never a Fender build.

Cool article, thx for posting!

On a side note I just scored a used mint Bogner cube yesterday. Sounds awesome...still have my 4x12 too :D

That's the first MV amp that EVH ever played through. Very cool!

Reinhold Bogner said he was telling Eddie about an amp he was working on. He ended-up taking Eddie to his house to play through the amp. Ed told Reinhold that he had never played through a MV amp. Look for the Guitar Center interview with R. Bogner.

Very cool.. I use to own a 100-B Eddie tried out way back. I bought it from Makin Music in LA back in 95"..regret letting that one go..

Though unsolicited - I just have to say that the Cornford MK50H II is basically a "polished" 100B. I gigged with both of these amps for roughly 6 weeks. I'd give the winning vote to the MK for its zero-loss/zero noise effects loop, and more "musical" low-end. The 100B losses a bit 'o ass when you engage the loop, and it can be a bit noisy. Plug the 100B into a Cornford pine cabinet - you virtually cannot tell the difference between them. Both are vintage-voiced with extended lower-mids, clean channel + gain channel + gain channel boost. Both amps use a Fender clean circuit, Laney-esque gain circuit, and a Soldano-esque power section.
