Pedaltrain 1 with 1/4 inch thru jacks. No soldering required!

Xavier @ ninZan Studios punched the board and installed the jacks for me (pretty quick around).

so here is the completed board.

These through connector jacks look great, do you know where one could buy them?

By the way, nice one on the providence 80s, I got one of these, too

It looks great! So many people are getting their Pedal Trains modded like this, perhaps they should consider making them stock?

looks sweet, would really like to get mine modded like that. Hell i wish i could even mount my power supplies underneath.

Sweet board. Nice collection of pedals

Now that I think about it, I cant believe I havent seen anybody else do that to a pedaltrain. Nice work!

I was thinking of doing the same to mine but never got around to it
looks good though

The Providence 80's Delay rocked my boat from day one. It is a classic.

Regarding the connectors, you can get them here:

This is one mod that should be incorporated by PT. They can pre-punch the holes on the boards -- much like TrailerTrash does on theirs.

Here it is connected to the amp.

The only issue during the testing was a "popping" sound when I turned turned the tuner on/off --- so I moved it in front of the buffer and that fixed the problem.

Now the board is dead quiet. -- Zero noise. Zero pops.

Board absolutely sounds great.

Man, I'd love to know where I could find those 1/4" panel-mount feed-thrus.

I've been searching EVERYWHERE for those. Found the XLR feed thrus, but not the 1/4"s.

wow that looks great,
really clean job they've done there.
I love my PT-2 and would probably do this too if i wasn't using it just for a midi controller, expression linked to that controller and a tuner

dude, that bedspread rocks

oh, nice job on the pedal board. i gave up because mine kept changing so much!

Thanks! It is actually a beach towel I threw over a table, but it is big enough to be a bedspread.

I just received my Lava Cable with the angled plug.

I really like Lava cables --- I purchased my first one several years ago and never looked back.

Awesome mod. Looks great. Glad you got an angled jack for your guitar cable. I don't know about you guys but some of the dance floors in bars I've played are fairly small and by the end of the night if the crowd is dancing, they can get pretty close to my stuff and bang the monitors around and I'd be afraid they'd hit the straight jacks... but will be less of an issue with the angled one. Again, great board1

Hi LVC, sorry to dig up an old thread here.

I know how to get those 1/4 jacks, but where did those brackets holding them underneath come from?

Also, what exactly are those things holding your cables in place underneath?

Do you remember any of this?

Thanks!

Chris
