I wish he had made these for sale as I would have purchased two of them.

Imagine what you could do with these today re mods etc. Just fucking wow!

It was WAY TOO GOOD to be true OR real in the open marketplace.

I had a Caswell modded Marshall once, it sounded like shit, I would not need a motor on it.

I had the Soldano Caswell pre & it too sounded like shit. I blame Soldano for that one.

Having the pot motors & drive mode changes via midi it would be the ULTIMATE switcher.

You'd mod the living daylights out of the audio signal today & you'd be in business.

Funny thing is Caswell modded the Marshall that was used a LOT on Appetite For Destruction. Hence the SIR rental designation of #39.

Great tone on Appetite for Destruction, supposedly the soy boy George Lynch had the Caswell at one point too.

True.

Now that we're geniuses in 2020 :hys: we know an album's sound given post EQ, post effects & mastering that the actual amp in the room sound is NOTHING like the recorded tone.

From this we NOW know NOT to trust a recording to purchase an amp unplayed.

i can't play anymore but i found a kruze modded twin head locally. I wish i would have snagged it.

I’ve seen that clip before. The motorized knobs are cool, but the amp itself doesn’t sound good at all imo in the clip

Agree, but you'd mod the living daylights out of the audio signal today & you'd be in business.

I'm aware of the date, mate; it's only 12 months old.

Also, there'll be no more 'cause I've finished shifting everything from the OTC archive to where it belongs in the new OTC sub-forums, the Feedback one and here. I "bumped" this one by giving a move notice 'cause I figured many folks would find this interesting. Did the same for a few others, but the rest were quietly slipped into the timeline according to their age.

Cheers mate.

The thread starter WGAF is long gone though. His last post was Nov 2020 and all in a sudden there's a bunch of his threads on the first page.

Well, yeah, that'd be because he must've been the main offender in posting them in the wrong sub-forum in the first place.

All explained ad-nauseum in numerous threads.

The fact that he's no longer around means nothing. It's not like he asked for advice on whether or not to buy or how to repair one. He was just putting it out there for discussion for those who hadn't seen it, hence the bump with the move.

That amp definitely doesn’t sound like shit to me, it’s just another terrible in the room camera mic capture that forums are so fond of putting out :D I bet that thing sounds great no doubt.
