What shops in LA have a good variety of high end amps?

It’s been a while since I’ve amp shopped in La and my friend is looking and wants to play some before he buys.
Any ideas?

I was there a couple of years ago. The GC had the most. The Mesa store was cool, but not much variety.

The Hollywood GC is great, but there are a lot of other GCs in the LA area and you can find some gems in those too. There's a really good one in La Mesa, just east of San Diego on the 8. Pasadena has a decent one too. And Norm's in Tarzana is good too.

I forgot to mention there are some Sam Ash stores around LA too.
