Basically with the switches you get 12 different options. I tried to incorporate the most classic variants. I’m most proud of the tricky switching I accomplished to get it from stock 808 specs to Landgraff Dynamic a overdrive specs. Most of these setting aren’t as subtle as say the Bonsai for example

All switches down is pretty stock 808 with the exception that I’ve modded the sweep to be able to get less and more gain throughout the gain sweep. Left switch is asymetric/none/LED clipping. Middle is stock 808 and LDO with the LED changing with the mode. The 3rd switch adds lowend.

A quick clip of using it as just a gain pedal and not a boost. I ran out of time (kids sports) so will get boost clips and clipping modes later.

So far I love it. Huge difference when switching modes around 50 sec

I re-uploaded the clip to to level clipping.

That’s pretty damned awesome! I can only imagine how rough this must of been to wire up correctly with 12 different options possible. Great work!

It was one of my tougher builds. I did it on breadboard and it took longer to do the layout than the assembly. But yeah, right fit. I post fit shots later when I get home.

Breadboarding is always the harder process at least mentally. That’s where you’ll either let the magic smoke out or not half the time lol.

Love to hear it goose an 800 and give it the bidness

Okay very crude, but you get the point. I dialed the amp in with a very crude lower gain setting. Because only using a single bright cap, the unbolsted tone is a little loose and I have no idea where the dust cap is in relation to the mic

Both modes, 808 and LDO, LED clipping on both.

At about 55 sec when I turn off the pedal it s crazy.

dude nice job and that clip sounds killer!! Ive done lots of pedal mods and builds, I know how tricky that can be! Here’s my frankenstein SD-1. Not as many options as yours though!!

It’s interesting what a difference just a few component tweaks

no doubt man!!! On the SD-1, just jumping D6, giving it TS clipping, smooths it out and puts it in a totally different eq range. And as you know there are tons of options like that on these pedals

All right, I'm in. How much?
Haha. Was just talking to someone that if I could get help designing a PCB to streamline, I’d consider doing a batch. Tayda can do predrllled color UV printed enclosures on the cheap. Too many stakes in the fire right now to do ground up stuff.
