When I visited LA to meet some TGPers it was during the whole “June gloom” thing. I loved it and it was just a bonus that my tickets were cheap.
I remember wanting to eat dinner outside one night and the waiter was gobsmacked because it was “only” like 65 degrees out. He even offered to light a patio heater for me lol.

Yeah when it's below 70 here a lot of people bundle up like it's -20°F.
To me it's a lot easier to be happy in cold weather, it's easy to dress warm. When it's 100° + I'm miserable and cant solve it by dressing cool.

I will admit though that my current work truck has remote start, and now I don’t know how I ever lived getting in to a freezing cold car

BS. "Tolerant" progressives are about as intolerant and spiteful as any hate-group I've ever come across. The onus is on you folks to demonstrate why boys can be girls. It's not mistreating someone by referring to them by the pronouns taught in every English language class in history up until maybe the last five years. It's extraordinarily shallow thinking and a totally narcissistic impulse. But you do get "Good-person" points!

No offense but you kind of strike me as a golden boy. You had a wildly different experience than I did. Fights, angry language and insults everywhere, lots of bullies and people getting humiliated or just roughed up and their stuff broken or stolen, thieves stealing sound systems from cars, and a lot of the teachers were trash too and a lot of them looked the other way when favored students were involved. To forgive them I had to move many miles away. I ultimately dropped out of school and did an alternative education. It's a cruel, merciless system run mostly by dirtbags in my experience. I got so many messed up stories about some of those people. They are the evil people because they have departed from Christ.
