I think you're conflating science with plain old observable reality. People knew dead people don't come back to life before the modern scientific method was created.

No, science is a specific method for understanding our physical world. Again, people can observe natural phenomena and rely on it without practicing science.

Sorry, science is man made and did not exist before men gave it a name. Neither is me feeling the southern summer breeze on my bare chest while drinking cold beer science, it's just an observation of the seasonal winds. Guys like you make everything science because it's your religion, as I stated earlier. You do not believe in Christ, but you believe in science.

Yeah, you can't do it in a way that is incontrovertible or not based on human derived, subjective classifications. Evolutionary theory is based on a lot of real evidence, but it is ultimately speculative. It's a great example of how scientific theory competes with and has pretty much superseded religion in modern culture.

You are warped man my friend. Any rational personal can understand science but also follow a religion.

Science is pretty cool man. Using your example; human skin does not have the ability to sense wetness.
We can sense the texture and change in temperature, so that cool breeze lets you know you are sweating a little bit, and it’s why you can feel that your cold beer is condensing when you take it out of the cooler.

Evolution happens everyday. Viruses and insects can evolve incredibly quick.

You’re proving his point. The most you can say is that our current understanding according to XYZ is ___________. If you’re going to be a real scientist you need to retain a degree of humility, especially depending on the phenomena in question. Scientific understanding is a continual process of discovery and revising or discarding prior theory. There’s no such thing as “settled science.”

I’m not doing that. But if evolution is true it calls into question the veracity of the Bible, at least if you are to understand it in a literal sense.

Well as I said, evolution is happening as we speak. Viruses and insects have evolved in our lifetime. So while it is a theory, it is also verifiable.
