I personally don’t see the benefit of praying for something that simple human actions can prevent just the same
You should look into science research on prayer. It might surprise you but the reality is even science can't convince most people.

If I believed prayer could manifest a desired result, I’m not sure I would pray for something that I can largely control myself.

I have no idea wtf you are asking
I asked why you believe the test can identify the virus and and you responded, "I didn’t design the machine, so sure, you can [say] I have “faith” that it works property if that is how you chose to think." I followed up asking how you thought about, and you can't seem to give an answer. My question is what makes you believe that the machine does what it is claimed to do, if not "faith"?

I also have a genome sequencer. It sits right next to my fei dualbeam fib em and particle collider. Unfortunately, it's one of those old 2022 models that takes several days to get results.

LIke a loved one who is not responding to medical treatments.

As you know I take most things at face value, so I honestly have trouble grasping the intricacies between prayer and accepting God’s plan.

Because I don’t think science is based on faith.
