That's old school. Even trulia lists a lot of for sale by owner stuff. I figure I am missing some of the properties in more rural areas because they are "for sale" signs next to the road or even just word of mouth sales among locals.

Seriously, get a Ring Doorbell. I love mine. You can see and talk to people from the safety of your desk or bathroom or safe room or whatever. Then, you can yell at people to fuck off or simply cycle a shotgun

I hear ya, but I'm to the point where I don't care. I have nothing to hide. They can spy on me all they want. Believe me, there are tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people that would be much more interesting to Amazon and the government/FBI whatever. I mean, bring it.

I'd rather know who is at my front door and yes, there are other ways to do that. I had Samsung outdoor front porch camera for a long time. Now I have Brinks + Ring Doorbell. Actually, right now we are off Ring and have doorbell on Brinks. I forgot.

Anyone who thinks that the government and big tech isn't already spying on you is in a mental institution. Data harvesting is big money. And if the FBI or any government agency wants to know what you have they can do it easily. Unless you pay cash for everything, don't have a bank and barter.
