Redefining Language

you seem to think you're knowledgeable enough to determine that I'm not.
I haven’t made that determination. I just said you don’t present yourself as someone with any mastery of the subject matter. That’s my opinion. But like I also said, you could be a PHD for all I know. People can also just talk shit and pretend they’re something they’re not, making allusions to texts and so on, not offering any specific or detailed evidence to back up their claim ?‍♂️

Passports, nationalities and even the borders of countries are political - that's why you have political maps of the world as opposed to physical maps of the world. Having your preferred "gender" on a passport doesn't magically make you one sex or the other physically. Using gender on passports to define one's sex is a political decision - not a scientific one.
I don’t even have a passport so I don’t know how all that works. Birth certificate is a tough one though. Presumably a doctor is the one determining your sex on that one.
But either way, I don’t really have strong opinions on whether she is a female or not, just that the rules for the Olympics are what they are and that’s why she was fought who she fought

I don't think they've ever been disputed.

I mean, genetically there's no in-between so the result would have either been M or F.
From a couple quick reads it seems like they (the Olympics) used to do testing for chromosomes but it was deemed unreliable. Same with testing for testosterone. They stopped like 20 years ago so I don’t know if testing is better now?

I see that we're still at it...

I’d read it if I had it, that’s why I asked for the picture of it ? Cats are fun too though ?
So, are you transmitting messages though telegraph onto the internet? Too lazy to type a few words and read a few paragraphs, but motivated enough to continue playing games for an entire day? Good luck with all of that.

I offered a very specific evidence source, and an extremely easy to understand one word summary along with the definition. In fact, the term intersex isn't really used anymore outside of the media, camp counselors with a half hour certification, or those who have used it long enough to be the go to language. On the other hand, the term I used is absolutely correct and always will be no matter any other terms that come to pass.

There aren't many fields of science where political correctness sways reality if you take issue with the language. The ones that do, like sociology, aren't really sciences. As there is no end to their evolution. Anyways, there's a few dozen types of mutant humans outside of male and female. Identity disorders are generally not the same thing and heavily outpopulate those with actual genetic mutations that are otherwise not in line with current evolution. Unless those identity disorders are specifically triggered by genetic mutations. Certain physical disorders aren't caused by DNA disruption either, but are still caused by mutations during development cycles.

Yes, people can "talk shit and pretend they're something they're not." Much like all of the partisan guitarists on the forum. Your belief or disbelief of me, as mine with most of y'all actually being guitarists; isn't going to stop the sun from rising. Nor will I lose any sleep. ?‍♀️

The 3rd edition appears to be floating around the web, if @NowYou'rePlayingWithPower is fine with that edition: https://pages.ucsd.edu/~mboyle/COGS107a/pdf-files/Neuroscience.pdf
Thanks, but there's a reason I don't click on links here. Especially from Southern Californians.
So, here's a link :ROFLMAO:(Hope original quoted 2nd edition is okay with you since you seem to be so fixated on it ) :

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK10943/

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go ahead and interpret it as any of you will than summarize it in a single word.
Human is another, I suppose. Variant. Anomaly. Permutation. Intersex. DSD (though technically not one word or even a word).
Doesn't matter, mutant is a correct term. One that most understand. "What is an organism with a genetic mutation, Alex?"
If any of y'all want to equate it to being derogatory or the more laughably triggered response " Nazi racial purity"; that's on you.
Won't change the facts, and the irony of the thread is very much lost on some of you.

If anyone wants to continue to go around in circles pretending things were or weren't stated or waste your time due to whatever ego issue; by all means. No one is stopping you. I'm done catering, though. So, have at it.

Yes, I mean scientifically proper. Richard Dawkins just got in trouble for referring to her as a biological male due to XY chromosomes. Is he just being sloppy?

I've already answered your original question about the definition of a mutant.
Richard Dawkins getting in trouble is a social issue. I haven't paid enough attention to the details of this mess to comment on that.
Read up on the subject a little to get a baseline understanding. You'll likely be able to answer several of your own questions and form a more educated opinion on this Olympic boxer issue.
Not wanting that to come off as mean. It's too big of a subject to go over in a couple of paragraphs in a guitar forum.

I suspected it wasn't applicable anyways as madhatter pointed out.
Just to be clear I didn't say it wasn't applicable. It does have relevance to the discussion as a whole. I was making the distinction between the 2 fields and neuroscience doesn't address mutations in the way you were asking about them.

Ay-ay-ay. Talk about going in circles. Let's just recap for those watching. This debate concerns A) whether "intersex" people (As defined in the excerpt you linked) should be allowed to compete in the Olympics and B), whether "mutant" is the accurate classification of biological sex for those more commonly understood to be intersex.

Regarding A), you argued that "mutants" should be barred from competing in the Olympics. You never justified this position or clarified what degree or type of mutation would preclude one from competing. Given that mutations may not produce detectable changes in the phenotype of an organism (The so-called mutant), and that chromosomal mutations such as Turner and Klinefelter syndromes affect females and males respectively, one gets the sense that your view is instead rooted in personal disgust about the intersex condition rather than the question of fairness to other athletes.

That brings us to B). While perhaps technically accurate, "mutant" is generally a pejorative term. But more importantly you still haven't defended it's application as a classification for biological sex. "Mutant" would also include conditions such as Down syndrome or Sickle cell anemia, neither of which relate to biological sex. It seems that instead of providing accessible references, you'd prefer to write walls of text babbling about nothing, feigning exasperation and intellectual superiority, and then throw in the occasional "neuroscience 2nd edition", which as it turns out doesn't even support what you're arguing.

So what now, more cat pics?

Genetically I’m a super male. That’s why I’m retarded and mongoloid the fuck out of everything I work on…

I think it makes him like extra man or something with the extra x cancelling out the 2nd x.
