That's the problem. It has been speculated that Imane doesn't have a dick for example. Being male or female is more than just the sexual anatomy or gonads — what exactly is required to be one or the other or neither?

They are coincidences. I was here before SR was booted. Mutant is a loaded word and as @MadAsAHatter pointed out 'mutant' is not really a classification of anything. And as I pointed out not all mutations have a noticeable phenotypic effect, so if you're going to make a rule about 'mutants' not being able to compete you're casting an arbitrary and wide net.

PS. @MadAsAHatter I had initially read your double negative "not inaccurate" as "not accurate" hence my confusing follow up question.

Well that's what I had initially suggested. There are however genetic conditions such as congenital adrenal hyperplasia that don't affect chromosomes, but do affect testosterone. And testosterone varies among females anyways, although I'm not sure how much. The problem with making too many rules is that genetics naturally give people more or less advantage anyways, so who's to say some genetic advantages are allowed but not others? The rulemaking itself could be seen as unfair.

Mutant is absolutely 100% a correct term. Just because you want to throw a tantrum over it (since what like page two?) Doesn't make it less true.
