This is different though.......
With the talks breaking down all of a sudden between the US and Ukraine it's not the same and this is different than earlier support.
It's just the Europeans now and no one else is going to help them and it needed to happen any which way.

It's different because the framework and support for defense is going to be European and by them mainly and only them to defend and support Ukraine.
The US is not leading that effort anymore and in place the British are leading the way now with the rest of the Europeans falling in line behind them.

I must have missed the part where the US said they are no longer supporting Ukraine. Are you sure that these countries aren't simply taking advantage of a strained relationship to further their already existing dislike of the Trump adminstration? Why didn't Europe take the lead in the first place, why now?

Why now? Because they have no other choice now and less about liking Trump or not.
And well it's clear the Ukrainians can't depend on America, we won't be helping anymore and it's up to the British, Germans and French to take the lead now out of necessity.

There may be some assistance but not anything meaningful as they have gotten over the past 4 years is what I'm trying to say like large stocks of weapons they have received over the course of the war..... and its pretty obvios from the meeting they won't get further help from the US that matters or any meaningful assistance from here on out......
You don't need a crystal ball to figure that out.....
In that sense well America is out and in place the British will lead the way and the Europeans will go it alone along with Ukraine.

Right on let me correct that, assistance has stopped to a degree...... and this is why Zelensky came to the table because the US has shown it wont provide Assistance as it once did and this was the only thing he had going to find some security for his people.
Now that the meetings and talks failed England and the British are more than willing to support Ukraine in Americas absence and while the Germans and French won't like it they will be forced to do the same too.

Exactly what should have happened when Russia was obviously moving things into place to invade Ukraine and they all sat there with their thumbs up their ass and did absolutely nothing but run their yaps.
They knew we would send money and arms/weapon systems so they let us foot the lion share of the bill like they do every time.
It’s about time they stand up and see to their own defenses. In Ukraine’s case, they put a large amount of money we sent them in their pockets with zero accountability because they knew Biden would not push them for accountability when they had dirt on him.
If Ukraine were not such a corrupt country to begin with they could have been bolstering their defensive capabilities for just such a time, it’s not like they had no idea of putins plans, they knew of his plans for at least 3 years due to Putin openly speaking of restoring russia to its former boarders in the future. They chose to do absolutely nothing.
They helped democrats foster the russia collusion hoax and sided with them in the last election.
We have no responsibility to aid a country who has contributed to corruption our own country.
