How about that stock market!

Taking a dump because of Dump. Of course his lackey was on CNBC this morning blaming it on Biden LOL. Oh, except for the 10K manufacturing jobs created last month, heaped piles of praise on Dump about that, LOL. And I couldn't be more thrilled at seeing TSLA take a dump too, couldn't happen to a better guy. This all feels really good because I sold half my investments in December and all but about 5% in January. Wasn't hard to see that nothing positive was going to come of this guy. But go ahead, keep on telling me how great he is. Fools.

I do feel he may get inflation under control though. But that's going to be because of the economic recession he is creating. So there's that.
So quick to jump to conclusions when told what to be angry about.

Trying so hard to be angry about something.
Is it just me or are all left Woke Pink Pussy Hat Yoga Lovers the saltiest people on Earth :dunno:

It's probably all the soy they eat and lack of protein.......

The Dow Jones is almost back to the level it was before the sell-off. Maybe a good time to consider taking some profits and not being all in on stocks. Not investment advice, but something to consider. Eventually, there will be a bit sell off or crash, so this is a nice gift.

Drugs, prescription drugs, the worst kind of drugs. They think it's OK because a doctor prescribes it.

The stock market is nothing but a ponzi scheme controlled by the big whales.

Sell and get out while you can.

Yeah, that's true. Lots of things are a ponzi scheme. The US bonds, social security, bitcoin, etc...

You forgot the Dollar.

I figured that one was too obvious, but now that we're on the topic, what is not a Ponzi scheme these days? Gold? Oil stocks? Investment in water? Investment in farm land?

Yes on gold and silver, the only currency as per the constitution and world history.

Some choice stocks maybe, but still risky.

Water? It depends where you live, not here.

I like all kinds of land but your are subject to tax increases at a whim of greedy politician. Leaves them too much control over you.

Art, collectables, cars, guitars.....

Look for lands that can be given ag exempt status. In TX 10 or more acres can be ag exempt in five years and you could have a huge holding that would cost very little taxes comparatively. You can often lease the field for grazing, hay cutting, or if you have marketable timber you can have a portion logged. The only issue is I feel everything is overpriced right now in some kind of bubble that isn't popping, yet.

I told my wife my Friedman amp was an investment as a hedge against inflation. It's sort of true, although the amp is not likely to sell for as much as I paid for it, at least not for a while.

I don't know I can get as much for my Princeton Bordeaux used than what I paid for it new.....

And I got it right before 2020 a couple days after Christmas ^_^

I could have saved $300 if I bought my Friedman in 2020. Oh well, at least I actually paid less by buying direct from Dave than buying from a retail store.

I expect to get more for all of my amps :dunno:

If that day even comes.
Yeah I mean not all my amps........ but I mean yeah my Princeton Reverb Reissue for sure and it's already a higher value now used than when I bought it new for a little over 1000 bucks I got it for like 1000 and 6 bucks and change right before 2020 and right before New Years of 2020...... best amp I've ever bought and played ImO and I'm glad it's Made in USA too and that means a lot as well.

Ima probably buy another one in 110 version and upgrade the baffle to a 112 as I have a 8ohm Vintage 30....... will retain or gain value over the course of 5-10 years same as the one I bought 5 years ago.

I love Princetons ^_^

And you know Republican Senators/Congressman, Secretary Bessent and the White House are pushing to do this within the month if not sooner......... and in the meantime........ watch that Nike swoosh keep going higher and higher after the trough and to Infinity and Beyond ^_^
