He is far from a nice guy. It appears that Larry was planning on doing something to the amp in anticipation of reza taking it to Fortin.

With all the bs about long wait times and other Larry bs, Larry started a contract where you get the amp by time agreed upon or you get refunded deposit. I really dont know why there was ever a deposit in first place if he really is so rich as he claims to be, because he literally could sell ten of his amps tomorrow if they were ready to go
 
I approached him a few years ago despite all the bullshit to make me a single channel high gainer. We had talked about it in the past, but forum brothers talked me out of it.

But i was ready to go this time. I asked where to send deposit, and he asked me one thing, "Why did you like @thegame 's post?"

I realized at this time that I was dealing with a 13 year old girl, and took a hard pass

This guy Reza builds amps? Thought he was just like a Cameron shill or something like that.

That's what I figured. I see now that I missed @Smash 's previous post where he's talking about Larry. Hard to keep up on all of the forum villain lore. Larry, Reza, Tag, Sweepkick guy, that one guy who had buried people in his basement, etc...
 
Damn, I liked watching some of his reviews. This is pathetic.

Imagine asking the internet for validation on someone elses amp tone when that same internet consistently blasts you for dialing in shit tone?
 
The irony is that Reza was happy to drop a dismissive comment like that on @Techdeth’s post and yet seems to get offended if people drop comments about his tones on his posts. Seems a bit hypocritical.

Also, @Techdeth was hardly bragging, shilling or being over-effusive about the Larry. We all chased @Techdeth to post clips, which he kindly did. Also, @Techdeth waited patiently for his amp, paid top dollar/full price for it and yet still points out that the Larry isn’t necessarily the best for the 7/8 string stuff, so it’s not like there was any bubble to be burst there.

A funny response would have been to ask what amp Reza has waited 4 years for. If the answer is none, then how does he know what 4 years sounds like anyway?
 
Reza is a kid. I like his demos a lot. But i think when you have a bit of success in youtube, it may make you feel special. Reza isnt special. His opinion on another youtuber's clip doesnt really carry much weight. Techie has skills. I think there is too much jealousy and/or butthurt to take it very serious

Not Fortin, but Friedman. I don’t know about that contract aspect you mention there. That’s news to me.
