It says "saints".

I didn't say anything about catholics, you did. Even so, just because someone is not recognized in the here and now as a saint does not mean they are not recognized as one in the kingdom. There are many thousands of martyrs whose names are not known.
Philippians 1
1 Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

It just means the congregation of Phillippi. Not what you think of as saints.

1 Corinthians 1:2

ESV To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:

Not what you think of as saints.
I think you think that I think it means something different than you do. I don't. And literally all the people you just mentioned, are saints in the orthodox church because they were orthodox christians. Time to brush up on your bible and christian history 101 hoss.

I don't misunderstand anything on this. If you are a Christian you are what the Bible is describing as a saint. It's a synonym.

There was no such thing as Orthodox Christians in the early church because there was no denomination.

You are arguing a claim I already agreed with. If the saints are in heaven with Christ, then we can request intercessory prayer from them.

Yes, because there was only one denomination; that which is now called orthodoxy. The earliest christian churches found in archaeological digs or still standing today are all orthodox.

No. If they are dead they are in heaven. The prayers from the saints in revelation refers to living Christians.

No - there was no concept of denomination. That came later.

This is the NIV version of your verse. It actually says "prayers of all God's people" which is exactly what I said - "Saints" in this context is just Christians and nowhere does it say they are dead.

Revelation 8

The Seventh Seal and the Golden Censer

When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. 3 Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. 4 The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand. 5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

This is the NIV version
You'll have to do better than woke protestant revised bible translations which is what the NIV is.

I already quoted the verse from Matthew that said the saints rose from their graves. I guess you were too busy trying to be right.

Mt 27 52-52 NKJV

52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the SAINTS who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

The dead Christians rose from their graves - yes - that's the resurrection we are promised. It doesn't just mean St Augustine, St Aloysius and St Joan (as the Catholic Church likes to call those people) etc... It means Christians generally.

Saints doesn't mean saints venerated by the church as saints. It just means Christians.

It said saints until you brought the modern woke translations in. It's like using a masonic bible to argue cornerstone vs capstone. NIV is a junk translation. I'm surprised you aren't aware of that. Then again, I'm not.

There was no such thing as the Catholic concept of saints until they made it up later on... The first Catholic so called canonised Saint was in the year 993. I showed you verses where saints was used just to mean the congregation of the church.

Who was talking about Roman Catholicism besides you? The greek word for saint is "hagios" which means holy or sacred, or "likeness of nature with the Lord" which shows just how far thrown off the NIV translators were.

The NIV is correct in this instance:
