I've been buying on most of the recent dips. I planned to retire early, in 2026; I may be able to retire this year if this keeps going. Thanks for caring though!
Who knows what will happen, but generally speaking, geopolitical developments of this magnitude are not good for financial markets.

Trump’s attacks on Iran were based on vibes, not new intel, two administration officials said. “There is no intel,” one of the sources says. “The intelligence assessments have not really changed”

Just this morning Pete Hegseth announced Operation Midnight Shotglass, or whatever, was a total success and the U.S. was not aiming for regime change. 8 hours later Trump is posting that we need to…I’m not kidding…Make Iran Great Again! This is the clown show we predicted

Host: Are you saying the US did not see intelligence that the Supreme Leader had ordered weaponization?

Rubio: That’s irrelevant

Host: No, that's a key point

Rubio: No it’s not… Forget about intelligence

The long game is oil will go down drastically when the US is pumping formerly Iranian oil.
Damn man, get a clue.

Eh I dunno man. The US pumps a lot of oil, but it is not the right kind of oil we need.
We buy oil from other countries because they have the types we need.
It’s not simply a matter of just drilling in the states more to get what we need.

If we wanted to be truly self sufficient we would be opening proper refineries first, and then pump more… but that doesn’t make the same people money

When is the last time the government approved a new oil refinery in the US ?

It takes a decade and billions of dollars to build a refinery.
