Fantastic, now we have the US Secretary of State....... begging the Chinese to do favors for us regarding Iran....... absolutely brilliant.


U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Sunday called for China to prevent Iran from closing the Strait of Hormuz, one of the most important trade routes for crude oil in the world.


"I encourage the Chinese government in Beijing to call them about that, because they heavily depend on the Straits of Hormuz for their oil," Rubio said in an interview on Fox News. China is Iran's most important oil customer and maintains friendly relations with the Islamic Republic.

I think the two US Navy subs have more missiles and are probably not too far away, and can open the Straits of Hormuz if needed. Certainly easier if Russia or China pulled Iran's leash tighter.
 
I would've rather seen us drop a bunker buster on wherever that scum bum Zelensky is staying=solving two world problems with one bomb.

Agree. It makes us look weak and also like we weren't thinking through the potential problems partaking in Israeli's BS when we rushed in to do their dirty work for them.

Yes it very much portrays weakness....... especially given the US prepared itself and decided to take unilateral action in The Middle East.......


IMO it was a mistake, but fine lets own it....... dont beg Iran nvm China for favors knowing full well this is exactly what would happen given probability/likelihood..... it not only demonstrates weakeness but naivety and incompetence on the part of the US Secretary of State IMO.

And you do know that China absolutely will pressure Iran not to fuck with shipping through the straight right ? It damn sure isn’t a favor to us. 🤣🤣🤣

I may have an outdated, misinformed, misinterpreted understanding of somethings and a lot of things I may digress and Im not the smartest guy in the room.......... but I sure as hell dont play Pokemon and where it matters I know what counts.......

Not saying you dont respectfully but IMO its unbecoming to ask a geopolitical adversary for favors...... right after doing something negative to that geopolitical adversary and their sphere of influence in some way, shape or form. Why would China gift the US anything or would Iran gift the US anything after yesterdays generational geopolitical disaster...... especially if the US Secretary of State is asking for the favor and gift :dunno:

IMO regarding The Presidents actions against Iran...... driven by Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu......


Such actions not only erode at but also lower the effectiveness, ability and utility of American/US DETERRENCE......



That had and have worked traditionally for years, decade after decade and forever............ its not wise to gamble Americans/Americas use of and ability to use DETERRENCE over tribal/religious disputes especially in The Middle East which is essentially what Israel has boiled this down to......



Nothing else but tribal/religious and petty arguments putting the whole world at risk......



Why take the side of non-secular/tribal/religious battles over rational/logical/true/tried/tested tools at Americas disposal like DETERRENCE.........



And how its worked and been in service on behalf of America/USA since WWll..... IMO it makes absolutely 0% sense and it makes more sense to be on the side of traditional DETERRENCE 100%....... its always worked in the past and never failed and the same should apply to Iran :dunno:
