Said he sold it quick on Reverb.. someone didn't want to wait.
 
Another one on Reverb, but it is $4,197 + $175 shipping + sales tax (whatever it is in your state). For that price, I could wait until early 2026.

"Selling the new Friedman Jose 100 watt head. Just recieved a few days ago from Friedman, awesome head, but can't keep it at this time due to other gear arriving soon. Selling at cost."

This cracks me up. Just say you don't like it. If you had other gear arriving...why buy this last week...there was no obligation to buy it just because you got the email.

I'm not sure, but sounds like a way to make a quick profit to me. I guess there's nothing "wrong" with it, but...

He's in California, so I'm guessing he paid sales tax when he bought it. After Reverb fees, etc., I doubt he's making much, if any, profit

That's what I thought originally, but someone else posted a screenshot recently that the price included tax at $3799. When I bought from Dave (I was also in California at the time) the tax was included in my price (which was less than if I bought from a retail seller).

Interesting. That makes be feel a little better I guess. I mean it sucks not knowing when the amp is actually going to be shipped. I might just cancel my order. I know Dave was saying he doesn't like to take peoples money, but it sucks at the same time paying for something with no eta on when its going to be shipped.

Huh? They weren't taking money for these until your name comes up and then it ships within seven days of payment. Mine went out same day.

I havent seen anything official that its "shipped" in 7 days. Maybe I missed something in the email? But so many people have been in the dark about when the thing ships after you pay.

Same here. Got the email that my name came up Tuesday morning, had it paid for by 7am, it shipped Tuesday afternoon and arrived on Saturday. I didn't notice anything in the email that said it would ship within 7 days. It did say you had 7 days to make a decision on whether you wanted to buy it or not and then your spot would go to somebody else if you didn't commit and buy it.

Last Friday. One guy that paid the same day as me already has his tracking. Another guy, was one the list I think in the first wave of pre-orders was told his is shipping Friday... it seems sporadic...

I'm by no means knocking Dave at all. But it's just a weird process.
