Castle doctrine is for protecting yourself, loved ones, at home, on your property, in your vehicles;

stand your ground is you don't have a duty to retreat / runaway when threated with violence, injury or death. Applies everywhere. Another way to look at it is we have the right to defend ourselves, our loved ones and our property including the use of deadly force.

I never leave the house without concealed carrying. Depending where I'm going, I'll pack more, For convenience, I have a slingbag for my car, contains a 9mm Uzi Pro, with a small 10-round mag, ready to go; and several 30-round mags...too bad it's not full auto. Only my Kriss Vectors fire faster, but they're slightly bigger than the Uzi.

Hey Johnny, many ammo dealers are now shipping to California. Same day shipping since it's likely the 9th will grant an injunction. As of now though the California ammo ID law is unconstitutional. Stock up on some cheap ammo while you can bro.

In fact, immigrants—including undocumented immigrants—are less likely to commit crimes than the U.S.-born. This is true at the national, state, county, and neighborhood levels, and for both violent and non-violent crime.
 
@Floyd Eye, can you link me to a good YouTube video or website with more info on the ammo ID law? I can search, but you know what's up so I'd like your advice. And thanks again for the heads up on this issue.

So all the major vendors are shipping to California currently. It is all but guaranteed Bonta will press for an injunction and tie it up until it gets to SCOTUS. So it’d be a good idea to buy as much as you can before that happens. Eventually it will be moot because the Supreme Court will strike the law down, but it may take awhile for it to get there.

As someone who has a now DEAD relative thanks to being killed by a drunk driver who was in the United States illegally, I have something to tell you.

If said illegal immigrant was NOT in the United States, he could NOT have killed my relative.

See how that works?

Now having said that, I am pissed off at a lot of the shit that's happening. I don't claim to have all the answers, either.

I'm sorry about your relative. I have a cousin who was killed by a drunk driver as well. That's a terrible thing to go through.

Yep. Even though we may disagree on politics and that may at times get heated, on a human level we are all the same. I'm pretty sure that most of us here, if we met outside of RT and didn't know each other's handles, would get along great over a beer.

I would get along great even if I knew your handle. I like to meet new people, it's part of the adventure of life and also one of my favorite parts of the music business.
