I just got a Reuters news flash. RIP Prince of Darkness.

So sad. Big influence on most of us. So cool that he did that last show right? The guy was just on another level.

One of the first things I thought of when I heard the news (while in Mexico) was our own late Todd/Bishop/victim5150

These 2 videos were from Todd's Ozzy tribute bands.

RIP brother's Todd and Ozzman. ❤️ 🖤 ❤️

Not uncommon, when people are close to death and finally pass soon after ending or completing something major in their life. Like retiree’s who pass not long after retiring. It may even have been brought on earlier by what he had to have to do to perform the concert and made the call with his Doc. In any event, what a fucking legend of a career for a musician to have. Help create an entire genre of music and then become such an enduring musical and social icon for the rest of his life and probably long after.

Todd was a hell of a killer guitar player. He is missed.

This one's at the top of my list for performances from Black Sabbath, but Ozzy in particular. He’s so young, full of life and doesn’t quite seem to fully grasp (at this stage) just how good and far reaching he really was. I love it.

Rest In Peace Ozzy

I know Ozzy made it clear he didn’t want people to be sad on his deathbed but to instead celebrate the time he had on earth but damn does my heart hurt for his family. He was their rock and there is no Next chapter - no one can replace him. I can only imagine how empty their houses will feel. It goes to show it doesn’t matter how much money you have or how much material items you possess, they all mean nothing without a loved one to enjoy them with beside you.

Their family will struggle to adjust with this new normal. I firmly believe Sharon will unfortunately not be too far behind due to a broken heart.

I also feel for his dogs - they lost him too.
