I was able to get a Dual Baby and 1x12 for free with trade I did. I'm hoping this one doesn't have the issues my other one did with popping but might be something I was doing.

I have two pedalboards and had one string of pedals going to the input and then was temporarily using the pedals from my other board into the effects loop. Each pedalboard has its own power supply. Any chance that was causing the issue since two power sources were crossing?

By the way, keeping my Friedman IR-D and Seymour Duncan Powerstage 200. That setup rocks as well!!

I think 2 power supplies should actually work better. For the last few years I used 2 OneSpots, and I used one for the pedals in front of an amp, and the other for the pedals in the loop.

If I cross-plugged either of them, many times I would get a lot of ground hum, or sometimes a squeal. It would always cause a ground loop. Keeping them separated prevented that.

That's interesting man. I'll have to see when I get this other one, if it has the same issue. I don't remember the popping with the Gain Baby I got first, so maybe just a bad loop on that Dual Baby.

Mine's had no issues so far, but know you and others had some issues. They're great bang for the buck, though I'd love some tweaks to both channels.

Looks like I previously just had a Dual Baby with issues because I don't seem to be having the same issue with my new one. Success!

So confirmed that I can't do the stereo pedal, return jack of another amp, setup with the Dual Baby. So weird that it doesn't do it because my Orange Super Crush does it fine.

I don't understand enough about electronics to try to figure it out. I am just going to use my Friedman and Seymour Duncan Powerstage into the Super Crush return jack. Sounded killer last night. That Halo pedal is just so insanely good.

Might try an isolation transformer to see if that helps. Like one of those cheap EB Tech, or Behringer type things with 4 plugs on it.
