I’ve spent years going through some very high end amps.
All were great in their own way but many had ‘something missing to me’ which was part of their signature sound.
Diezels, Bogners, Wizard, Soldano, Mesas, Framus to name a few
The Peavey 5150 was the amp I’ve played most in the past 20yrs before I started tone chasing more.
I’ve gone full circle and picked up a couple of new 6505s… man it feels like coming home.
Just amazing effortless amps.
In stereo with the rack sounds great and I’ve already written new material in the first 30min of playing these
The 6505 1992 original is the real deal. Sounds just as good if not better than the previous signature and block letter 5150 I used to have
