Hey, don't drag me into anything Dan. I googled it about 5 seconds before I posted about it. I don't have a clue about any of that shit and frankly I don't like the fact that now I do.
And for the record, as I said in that first post, they have more than one explanation on Urban Dictionary, which I stated was my source. All of which had something to do with being gay or deviate sex.

It seems very likely that this kid was brought up in a decent family, if a little Yosemite Sam conservative.... including all the firearms experience/comfortability that entails. He was likely a nominal conservative of some kind in his teenage years.

Don't know much about him other than his ACT score was 34. Seemed like a bright kid, but something really strong must have been eating at him to drive him to do this. I've worked and been around academia long enough to know that it is planting the seeds of resentment culture into young students. It tells them that all their unfair things that happened are because of their race, or because of their gender, or because of their [fill in the void]. Many of us are young and dumb, and this resentment culture works. But for this kid, he seemed to have everything on the surface. We'll just have to see how this unfolds.

This is actually the key to understanding it. HE DOES have everything. Therefore all the "privilege" narratives of his college professors and fellow students hit very hard.
That's why kids like this get radicalized.
It's easy to convince an upper middle class or upper class white boy that everything bad in the world is because of you having everything, and "taking it" from every other _insert group_. Especially from an authority figure like professors or older students, when you have been raised to respect authority your entire life.
Going through his and his family's social media has made all of this make way too much sense
