I would be curious to compare the tone of my JP2C to the reissue HRG, i have a feeling the reissue will sound more pissed, more crunchy mids, more clarity, more punch, less compressed, and less smooth and would probably have a better feel. Its also nice that the reissue lead drive isnt hardwired. JP is more versatile, but im just talking tone for tone compared to a OG HRG.

HRG means 100 watt/reverb/graphic eq. The first reissue was technically DRG - simulclass/reverb/graphic eq.I’m not edumacated on this; how does the reissue differ from an HRG? I thought HRG’s were just denoting “This is a legit IIC+”?
