I remember seeing Mick Mars and Lita Ford with the Warlock and thought it was such a cool guitar but for whatever reason I never got one.
I knew someone would eventually post this
You didn’t get one because deep down inside you knew it was an abomination. It’s a niche shape that reflects the jaggedness of darker music. Not all music is lasting and timeless like a Les Paul’s and their successive players.I remember seeing Mick Mars and Lita Ford with the Warlock and thought it was such a cool guitar but for whatever reason I never got one.

Dumb question but does that guitar require lube at the nut?
I forgot about that one. I really like it. It has a little Gibson Firebird vibe too.Part Gibson Explorer...Part Charvel Surfcaster...Part Gibson RD. I'm surprised the Hagstrom Fantomen never really took hold.

The Dunable R2 is the same shape. That one is catching on, as I know people who play the Dunables. Plus, there's a pretty big rock band playing those Hagstroms.Part Gibson Explorer...Part Charvel Surfcaster...Part Gibson RD. I'm surprised the Hagstrom Fantomen never really took hold.

I knew a luthier up in MN who was making modular guitars like that in the 90's. MEG was the brand, "modular electric guitar". He had a few different bodies you could buy and I wanna say there was a multi pin connector that hooked pickups into the controls. It never took off. Seems like a solution looking for a problem more than anything.I also thought RKS modular guitars with interchangeable bodies would have caught on. I have a RKS Black Diamond, and they had a cheaper series RKS Wave.
