I had a VC50 and it just didn't have the bass response I was looking for. I thought that the 100 watt might have better bass response having more headroom.

Does anyone have experience with both amps? I have a 5150 (head) now, and considering getting a Laney VH100R. I need a clean channel. Does the VH100R have a good low end thump like the 5150's do? Thanks :rock:

I'm getting ready to recover my 5150. Has anyone tried using 3M Super 77 Spray Adhesive to bond the tolex to the cabinet? What are your suggestions? Thanks
