If you run the the amp as a single channel amp you should be ok with most effects. The only one I would be iffy on is the reverb. I tried to run a reverb pedal in front of my mini rectifier head and while it was ok on the clean channel it would go haywire on the dirty channel. Once I put it...

I think the RV25 and the V:25 would benefit greatly from master volume knobs.

While its not the Mark V:25, I own a Rectoverb 25 head and 1x12 mini rec cabinet and have jammed on a Mark V:25 at my local store and can vouch for the fact that the volume of these amps comes on hard and fast. I have to play my RV25 in vintage because Modern is much too loud for bedroom jamming.

My local GC is terrible, hardly any amps, the only tube amp was a 6505+, everything else was Line 6 and the guitar selection is atrocious. Sad really.
