I think it sounds pretty damn good!!! EVH is on fire!!! Yeah Dave does not sound great, but the band rocked it!!! Hell, Dave did not sound great when I saw him on the Little Ain't Enough tour in 1991 with Joe Holmes on guitar.

I agree, a little too much gain, ( I believe he uses channel 2 all the time except for solos, which are Channel 3, red channel) at least it's not muddy, he's got lots of sizzle in there…
Alex is one freaking solid drummer! Extremely underrated…

If I was at the show live I would have lost my mind, sounded great and looked like a blast. Listen to the latest disc and Wolf is pretty beastly. Surprisingly, the backgroubnd vocals still sound fantastic, which should have been the one area to really miss the most without MA. DLR is a bit creepy, but he probably never evolved from his 18 year old mind where somehow being creepy is acceptable if you're young; that doesn't present well in your 60s, lol. At least he looks genuine and happy. I hope they make another disc and play in my town.

That was a better performance than on Jimmy Kimmel or Ellen at least. DLR still keeps on trying too hard, why o why?. Ed's tone.. Personally I miss the brown sound. Whenever he play songs like Panama or Running with the Devil I'm listen for the parts where he used to clean up his tone with his volume control. With all that gain Ed's using these days he just can't get that clean tone anymore. But again, the performance was a step up from last time.

I agree...blew away the Kimmel performance....sounded good and it rocked. Just limit Dave's singing, like they did, take the spinning mic stand away so he doesn't plug himself in the nose again, and all is good. Rock on VH!!!

OK. Friedman's fat too. There. I said it. Never said Wolf couldn't play bass, and I'm not jealous. Band sounded good, and Wolf plays well. But he's too goddamn young to be that overweight.
