    Some ADA MP-1 Shred!

Sounds great as ever and by the way - I put loads of my rock-loving mates onto the Vacation South EP and we all love it, can't wait for more!

Why doesn't Vai like the Legacy 2?

I've seen a few videos recently where he's discussing his tone and how he's using the 1 and 3 on stage and how his new Legacy pedal gets the sound of the 1 and 3 very accurately. What happened with the 2? I assume he designed it, so why doesn't he use it does anyone know?

-where's all the talent in the music business?

There is ALWAYS talent in every era of music, you just have to be open to finding and looking for stuff and realise artists like Adele aren't for you and that's fine. Spotify and YouTube are your friends in this regard.

Fortin grind -> Diezel Dmoll. This pedal is sick

Sounds really meaty even with the phone cam!

Blocked off the trem on my Suhr Modern

It didn't have much upwards travel to begin with, so it was more of a hindrance for double bends or if a string broke etc. It was just the regular Suhr trem. The action and setup seem just fine, I didn't have to mess with that at all and it feels as good as ever to play tbh.

Blocked off the trem on my Suhr Modern

It was floating but never added much benefit in the up-pull and I must say the playability and sustain has increased a bit, or at least it FEELS like it has! I blocked it by just screwing the trem to the body tighter, so can still divebomb. Has anyone else had similar results on their Suhr or...

    Dokken Unchain The Night Cover

Really puts it into perspective seeing the recent reunion videos. Love all their other vids too, the Queensryche one is awesome!

    Marshall JCM 2000 TSL Love?

I used one for a gig once last-minute and I was surprised as to how decent it sounded given its reputation. Wouldn't take it over a DSL though obviously, but it was certainly usable and cut through on stage well.

Pretty decent metal amp shootout video

All sounded very decent apart from the Marshall. I thought the Ibanez was the surprise of that lot - tight low end and some good definition.

    Best Chorus Pedal?

I've played loads of chorus pedals over the years and I must say they're all PRETTY similar in my opinion. Borrowing a no-name one from a friend at the last minute that I thought would be rubbish, but it's turned out really good!

Just saw Meshuggah on their North American tour date in LA

Great review! How do you know about what gear they were using btw? I've been a fan since the Nothing re-release and they are just on a different level of heaviness to any other "heavy" band out there. The new album is just amazing!

Fack! Do you ever have to cart that beast to gigs?!

Bucket List: Got to play "5150" with my band...

Sounds pretty good! (The stage is behind you btw)

Soldano takes a trip inside EVH's marshall

Even if an independant tech shot a vid taking apart Ed's Marshall piece-by-piece and explaining everything in intricate detail.... we would STILL argue about whether it was modded or not

Do super high output pickups need to exist now?

Obviously back in the day they were used to drive amps harder and get more gain, but now every amp from practice amps, to valve heads, to modelers have heaps of gain on tap. Obviously a lot of people love EMGs etc... but I just think what are they doing tone-wise, now that amps don't really...

The real Ratt is back 2016

As always with SO many bands from the 80's either still going or recently reunited - band sounds great, singer sounds rubbish.

How much do you make each year playing your guitar?

I play in function and wedding bands, cover bands, acoustic duos, solo wedding background music, the occasional sight-reading at a local musical and teaching in the week an schools and privately. I wouldn't like to say how much; it's not a fortune, but it's a good enough sum to live well...

    teH BrOOtaLz ...

Sounds brilliant tbh, much better than the demo that the guy did at Namm.

    Buckethead live 7/2016 full show

Seeing as people just want to see him playing guitar and to see HIM then he ticks those boxes. Along with his amazing playing he does robot dancing, nunchuck sections and plays hectic slap bass too, so his shows have variety in that respect. But yeah, it would be cool to see him with an actual...
