I use 11-54's on my C Standard guitars and they feel roughly equivalent to a 9-46 in Standard tuning, so you're probably fine going down to B with 12s.
The Callaham is a great bridge, but I prefer the Gotoh 510. Both play and sound great, but the trem feel is much nicer overall on the Gotoh between the way the trem arm loads and the angled design of the block that gets you a bit more arm travel on dives.
+1 on the Koko. I'm not a pedal guy at all but I've always got mine on the board no matter what amp I'm playing - from a Fender Twin to a Plexi to a VHT or Friedman. As versatile as anything I've ever used.
I keep a Port City 2x12 around to travel with since it's much easier to move (and sounds a lot closer to a 4x12 than most others I've tried), but that being said 4x12's always sound way better IMO.

Have an incredible gear collection now. Ironic - back a few years ago when I had all the time in the...
I think it all comes down to how much time you want to spend tweaking around with profiles and settings, etc. If you're the type of player that wants to plug into a great sounding head, dial in the tone you're looking for and play, the Torpedo is pretty much a magic bullet and will take most of...
Funny, when I started playing (Squier Strat) I would break a string every few days. Now, I honestly don't think I've broken a string in over 10 years. Agree with everyone else, it's a combination of better equipment and better technique.
Interested in this as well - really want to play one of these but haven't been able to find one in the wild. Might just have to bite the bullet and get one, definitely would like to hear what others think...
Have you tried a voltage regulator? I noticed for a while that my amps would sound like crap when I plugged into them at random times, but consistently after getting home from work - later found out that the voltage off the wall socket was way lower around that time than usual. Added a regulator...
