Do we talk about dynamic compression or bandwith compression or something else which changes the signal? I don't know but i know for sure this reamplification with tube helps to restore the original signal and that's the way to go for attenuation.
Now you can ask yourself if amplifying a pod...
You can't patent this kind of thing in France. I know that it's different in US but i doubt that even if you get a paper it protects you from something or you could patent walking on the moon or giving food to your cat.
A few years ago i was experimenting with my Marshall SE100 trying to get rid of the compression of the system.
I had the idea to plug it into a little blackheart that was modded to work as power amplifier with my Axe-Fx Ultra.
And baammm it worked.
It seems that the amp stage removes the...
Take 100w and you will sleep on your two ears.
Do you have a compensated output with a speaker emulation?
If not direct out -> soundcard -> Daw (Nadir or Lepou or Boogex or...) + IR -> headphone and you will have the perfect setup for a silent play.

I'm sure a better one exists after i profiled all my amps. :aww:
This explains that.
I always fail at micing though i probably have one of the best stack in the world.(jtm45/100 anniversary)
The kemper helps a lot because it cuts the room's reverb.
If you are not happy with your profile just swap the cab for a better one.
I'm able to copy a lot of tone by just using the profile of the same amp and by swapping the cab until i have the right tone.
My first sentence was "That is something to discuss for amps with master volume."
Now you hear what you want to hear.
The question from the beginning is if issues occurs even with extremly low power/voltage/current when all seems to be ok. Not with high power.
The issue is high-voltage AC...
As you can check there is no voltage or current issue.
As i said it does the same hum into the cabinet. This is not new.
But perhaps you're right, i'm killing the OT without any signs of anomaly. It's magic.
(Bias current is normal 31 mA)
Here is a record after one hour.

The amp does hum after 1 hour but nothing extraordinary here, i think that tubes are not well matched.
It does hum with a cab too. Hum grows after half and hour when tubes are hot.
Yes i'm right and you spread fear.
I spent 1 hour of tests and measurements this morning with my JCM2000.
I checked the output voltage (OT) and the plate voltage or the input voltage of the OT.
The JCM2000 is plugged first into my 4x12 (16 ohms) closed cab (JTM45 40th anniversary).
I'm using...
