For once.. AGREED on the settings! Everyone seems to be cranking their treble for some reason. To me, anything past 11:00 is harsh. I keep my lead tone (Ch 3) treble at 9:00. Prescence to compensate for the cut treble (definitely a different but better in my opinion high end frequency) also...
Its done now... GK100's mixed with Hempcones in my new diezel RL 4x12.
Sounds pretty bangin. I only got to play it for a little while on my Einstein, but its intended to be for playing on the road with my herbert. So while i want to report awesome stuff, i cant till the 23rd (our...

I use a rocktron Prophecy. Its not bad, and im very used to it. Id honestly rather use pedals because to me its seems more transparent...but then again its a pain to have to hook up all my pedals by running most through the front and some through the effects loop. ...cant win. Im also...
+1
Maybe he can invent the Kirk hammet signature "Wah Pedal Shoe". That way he wont even need to walk over to his pedal to get that sweet wah tone that everybody loves to hear on every Metallica song ;)
Word.
Im gonna change all the Christian guitar players minds;)
hahah.. funny because all the producers are using them. Rob Graves, Rob Hawkins, even skillet used a diezel on their last album. Everytime we play with Disciple, Pillar, Kutless, etc we talk gear. Im trying to make converts out of...
Thats funny..We just played a show with Pillar last weekend. Ive been telling Noah he needs to Play a diezel BAD! Then again ive told just about every Christian rock guitarist out there that diezel is the way to go
Word..
They have both made a huge impact on many guitar players lives.
Which is my goal and ultimately what i want to do someday. ..except on a deeper level aside from just music and playing.
Lets be Realistic...
How many of us grew up on Metallica and thought Hammet was good back in the day? Probably a lot of us, including myself. Now, i cant stand the thought of his solos and his forsaken wah pedal garbage... Im sure he doesnt practice because hes too busy surfing and spending...
When i first got my Herbert i did the same thing except worse. I had mine cranked and it was on for several minutes at a show and i couldnt figure out what was wrong and why i was getting no sound. I tried cables and everything under the sun. I thought my new amp was broken and i was kinda...
I agree with this 100%. Especially when you have a hot girlfriend waiting at home for you, and you go through all the bs of being on the road. It most certainly is tempting. Then again, most my touring was independent in the past
Nah.. just one show. We may do some co-writing with him though.
Would be nice to get him possibly to produce our album too since hes not all nashville minded. I cant stand some of the Nashville cats mindset.
ACTUALLY... We've been in negotiations with a few record labels for the past few months and finally got a really good deal. Havent signed it yet, but the offer is great and we are going to get our lawyer to edit it and make it a little more sweet if possible. But the other bands on this label...
I agree so much with almost all of these posts to the point where it almost feels like an absolute!
Kenny Wayne Reminded me last night as to why he was one of my favorite and influential guitarists of all time. Absolute killer playing and tone! Commanding! His stage prescence and stage moves...
