yep in the front and loop at the same time using the one pedal, definitely worth a try before investing in something else
i have the mxr smart gate myself but use it only in front of the amp, the ISP decimator is otherwise king
grats =)
have you tried the x-pattern with the NS-2 ?
might be worth a shot
explained with diagrams here :

i'm using a pair of M-audio AV40s with el kemper, cost me like 130 euros
sound great for the money and size

tough one, but in no order:
hallowed be thy name
the evil that men do
infinite dreams
wasted years
sea of madness
caught somewhere in time
the trooper
the duellists
seventh son of a seventh son
fear of the dark
//
that list changes every now and again but as of today it's correct ;)
out of that list the source audio is very complete
otherwise definitely +1 on the danelectro fish n chips EQ, transparent and quiet, incredible value for money
this guy has demos for a lot of the wackier pedals (synth/fuzz/ring mod etc.. as well as distortion pedals)
https://www.youtube.com/user/xtimehascomex
worth a look, otherwise i'd suggest a Line6 M9 , can chain 3 various effects together if needed for some nice synth like tones
there are synth...
awesome =)
strange coincidence i got the same amp model from the same year , definitely my favourite amp over the years, can do pretty much everything classic rock and up
got a 50watter 800 from 83 , tried all sorts of various overdrives and boosts, but got the best results from just using an EQ by itself , stays more true to the actual guitar plugged in as it were, the telecaster will still really sound like a telecaster etc
+1 on the danelectro , for the price...
more info up now , quite a price tag to it
http://shop.fractalaudio.com/FX8_Multi_ ... as-007.htm
Features
FX8 is an advanced multi-effects processor, perfect for guitar, bass, and other instruments.
“Built Like a Tank” with a powder-coated steel chassis and aircraft aluminum end panels...
i'd say at the moment the roland space echo re-20 pedal, really like the features the various multi head modes and the tone
after that the strymon el capistan, mxr carbon copy are probably strong contenders
i've got a kemper in my apartment, for low volume levels and recording , got the unpowered version and a set of powered m-audio studio monitors (not too expensive either) , sounds really great through them
for home/studio use, really no need imo for a powered version
if you just want your RP1000 effects in the loop, just feed the amp FX loop send and return into the unit ,i'd try 'input' and 'left output (mono)' and then set your patches accordingly
vintage v52 icon , killer tele, grabbed it off ebay for cheap, previous owner had upgraded pickups/wiring, just changed the nut, one of my favourite guitars
otherwise a PRS SE soapbar II , killer p90s on there, sounds and plays great
PJ3aazGrrdo
great stuff =0 what guitar is that btw, parts build or something?
slamming the front end with an EQ as a boost tends to give great results, i've got an 2204 jcm800 from 83, screeaams just don't get to play it much, living in an appartment
