Hell yeah! I think Eddie sounded better with Soldano than anything else. His early tone was revolutionary because it was different and it was Eddie but IMO Eddie never has sounded better than he did in his Soldano years. Just my opinion.

Accidentally plugged my 8 ohm cab into my Mark IV's 4 ohm output. Played for a while like that but could tell something sounded off. It sounded weaker and less aggressive. After a while I realized the issue and corrected it. All seems fine but..... Any damage from this mismatch?

The wood quality used is different also. Specs can be deceiving on paper.

I've tried and still own a few P50's but I don't really care for them in comparison to V30's. I tried them in several cabs. They didn't sound horrible but they didn't sound great either IMO. V30's kill them IMO.

Maybe check out the Soldano Hot Rod 25 also. I bought it while comparing it side by side with a SLO and Hot Rod 100. It's a killer amp but IMO all Soldanos are. The SLO is great but it's not for everyone, especially since it's sweet spot is glass shattering loud.

Yeah, the old ESP board was really fun and informative. Not sure why they had to completely change it. Most seem to have left after the change.
