5150 is one of the best VH tunes of all time & ED has some killer playing & tone here & there during the Sammy era........DLR era VH is obviously the best overall(DUH), but there's a handful of Van Hagar stuff that kills!

To my knowledge, it's a bunch of fans who created a store. They are the guys who started The Inside magazine years back. There might be some ties with the band, but the Van Halen doesn't own it or anything.
Just for clarification.

That's where they truly jumped the shark. I don't own any of those songs. I've heard a few on the web, but never had any desire to actually download any or buy a CD. The same can be said for many of my favorite 80s bands anymore though. I hung onto to many of them for as long as I could... but disappointment after disappointment, and waste of money after waste of money finally took its course. Many of those bands I don't even bother to listen to clips of new material on Amazon or check them out on YouTube anymore. So even for FREE I won't waste my time to check them out. I think that someone gave me that last VH CD (with DLR back at the helm) and I listened to it once and then purposefully lost it.![]()
I can't even...I just can't. I WILL say that I saw VH on tour with Gary and they were the best I've ever seen them ! I saw the re-boot with DLR tour too and Gary just owned Dave, but NOBODY has Dave's rap...Rdodson":2pesti45 said:Red_Label":2pesti45 said:paulyc":2pesti45 said:I agree there IS some Van Hagar stuff I like, but it's really the odd tune here and there, not a whole album's worth...and let's not even talk about the Cherone era...

Give "Blood and Fire" another chance/listen - but I understand the feeling you have.
