I'd say that Randall's marketing team intended for the amp's name to ruffle a few feathers. It generates discussion, which eventually translates to a rise in sales.

I can see what you're trying to get at, but I sadly don't think the (ridiculous) shipping costs justify the mod.
I think the speakers and cabinet/s, and having a solid connection from your guitar all the way to the speakers is what matters most. Particularly above any amp mod.

^Well if they are only $1, then maybe just buy them as ornaments, or use them to build a little radio or mini stereo so they light up- just a gimmicky fun thing.

My electric guitar, a guitar cable, and a Marshall MS-2 Micro-Stack guitar amp into the Line In of the mixing desk and out of the Front Of House Speakers. No joke.
I have an angled Marshall 4x12 cab that I'm thinking of cutting up with a bandsaw to make a 2x12 cab.
I'll likely just use the bottom half, with the remaining pieces used to patch up any gaps. Also I'll put in new grille cloth.
Is that worth doing? Or will it "sound odd" from all the extra...
