    What is your lead boost?

If my amp doesn't have a second master, for volume I use an eq pedal. For more gain I'll use one of the higher gain channels on my amp, or for a pedal, a ts-9 or an old are always on your board, along with a few others that come and go

    Marshall 1960HW cabs..

The HW cabs are a clone of a 1968 Marshall cabinet. The back is birch, thry have metal handles, no cab corners etc. I have a B cabinet, and I also found that heritage g12h-30s to be a. It bright sounding for my amps at the time. But they are amazing after broken in and with some volume...

Soldano SLO vs Mesa MKIV high gain shootout - video inside!

Both sounded great to me. I probably prefer the mark IV, seemed more clear, seemed easier to play. I've owned both. And think they're both great amps. Thr mesa will cut better in a band situation I MO.

Some advice from those who've owned both Marks and a SLO?

If you're used to the lead tones, and love the lead tones of a Mark series amp, you're probably not going to be all that impressed with the SLO. I've had two, and while I think they're a great amp, I laugh when I see the guys saying it's the greatest amp ever made. It may be for them... but...

Marshall Silver Jubilee Mini?? Any owners?

I've had the combo for about a month and a half and I love the little thing. I've owned 4 of the original 100 watt, and 3 of the 50, but it's been 6 years or so since then, so I'm probably a little dusty one memories, but this little amp delivers. It can get loud, my bass player jokingly...

Friedman? Splawn? Other?? Looking for an amp!

The Marshall 20 watt jubilee head or combo are pretty damn nice as another option. New are about three same price as the used amps you're looking at. Or the street rod. You said you were wanting lower wattage.

Classic Marshall sound in a lower wattage package

    Rig Rundown (AX8, 5153)

Great video, was it hard setting up the volume levels of the amp, vs the models in the ax8? When you run models and want to turn up your sound, will you have trouble getting the amp and model sounds matched? Different shows require different volumes, will that be an issue? Thanks!!! This...

    Cheap guitar for modern metal.

Some of the faded Gibson flying v sell for around 600 on ebay. Should have the 500t and 490 pickups which are hotter than hell.

The new Petrucci Boogie Mk JP2c

+1. I've owned a couple of Mark IIc+ and they're one of us favorite amps ever made. I've also owned quite a few Mark III and mark IV, and I like them as well. Except R2 channel. I hate that channel. I also thought the 2nd channel sounds more like an original, more open and less...

    -the best c.p. EL34's-

New Amp Day. Brown sound crazy close.

I bought one a year or so ago, and for practice at home, I really think it's about perfect. Plus you can use the auxiliary input to play a song though to practice with. Crazy good at super low volumes.

NAD! JP-2C. I think I can sell my boost pedals now.

Agree 110%, I should have worded that better.
