That was great man! Sounded really good even thru the video sound. Seems like a great setup that is not too complicated!

Didn't you try the Helix in 4CM setups when you had it? Apparently it's a bit more versatile than the AX8 when working with amps. I think you said you didn't like the Helix amp models but did you import any cabinet ir's? The stock one's are supposed to suck pretty bad. In Pete Thorn's Helix clip of course he made it sound great. But I don't think he used one stock cab sim from the Helix, he was using Ownhammer.

I built some presets this morning (5153 100 watt, BE100 and Herbert) that will allow me to run through my amp/cab on stage and out to FOH with IR. I'm going to try it in New York this friday.

Great video, was it hard setting up the volume levels of the amp, vs the models in the ax8? When you run models and want to turn up your sound, will you have trouble getting the amp and model sounds matched? Different shows require different volumes, will that be an issue? Thanks!!! This looks like the perfect thing for me, run it into the loop of my cali modded marshall, have my amps channels. But add a few other amps for different songs.

Getting volumes wasn't hard at all. Since there are 2 independent outputs with their own levels, it's as simple as reaching down and turning one or the other up/down. Now, you have to make sure your presets are already matched before you go to a gig, meaning have them close enough volume wise. There's a VU meter that comes in handy on the display so that helps. I do think it'd be easier to either use it for fx only in 4CM and use your amp's preamp/tone or use it into the fx return of your amp and use the amps of the AX8. That's what I'm planning for tonight. Hoping to get video and I'll post it here if I do.
