You can't afford these, but I've made it easy to see & hear what a great job Gibson has done recreating 3 of your favorite players' EDS1275s. Maybe sometime soon Gibson will have a counter set up at the Gibson Garage to easily trade property and buildings for doubleneck guitars, but until then...
We all have our opinions about PRS. I've always admired their beauty and craftsmanship, but they're just not for me. That said... this warehouse tour is really impressive! It's a bit long (it took me a few sittings to get through), but I found it all really educational and entertaining. As...
It seems Dean is back in the "Z"/Explorer business. What a circus this company has become, but we'll take entertainment any way we can I guess. Your move Gibson...
While we all know they've always been a polarizing band bringing out their lovers and haters, it's hard to think of a cooler thing for guys in their 60's to be doing than opening this amazing new venue. We've all seen the magnificent visuals inside this place by now, but this is the closest...
We've all read this interview re-transcribed 100 times, but it's so cool to hear young Ed talk about himself, his gear and how he does things in this audio recording. I hope Jas releases more of these old tapes!
It's always fun to get another piece of the puzzle of Maestro EVH behind the scenes. I, for one, had no idea this was the guitar used on those slide parts. Thanks Wolf!
These GibsonTV things on peoples' collections are always good (check out the Rick Nielsen one too), but this new one featuring Slash's stuff is really cool. Great to see Gibson showing the Derrig LP up close with the others. Per usual, Slash seems like such a cool dude to talk guitars with.
In the signal flow of a JCM900, is the reverb before, after, or parallel with the pre-amp section & effects loop?
*Disclaimer: I'm not a guy who ever opens amps (unless I'm changing tubes). This question is for a friend who does great Mastering work.
Thanks in advance!
Since the original version of this opener is melodic as h*ll and had no guitars at all on it...I thought I'd share, since we all love to put guitars on things that didn't want guitars on them. It's also the 1st time my band ever properly recorded a cover tune...so that's...
I know, I know, there are too many threads on Eddie VH around here these days, but still.....
I just have to say how amazing it is that this guy is a guitar god for so many of us, who also happened to be the song-writing force of one of the world's biggest rock band....and after all that: He...
I'm bouncing back from some hospital stuff and now need to get a cart to move my stuff. I only use a small combo (Mesa Mk V:35), and have a pretty big pedal-board and 2 guitars. Looking at GC, I see a bunch ranging from $99-$249 that all look very similar. (link at a $149 example attached)...
I know there will be haters jumping onboard this, but I just have to say: My biggest take-away from the guitar area of the NAMM Show this year was the return of Gibson. After filing for bankruptcy and not attending last year, they're back STRONG this year with the biggest, nicest room I've ever...
I checked out some cool pedals from these guys at NAMM but have never heard of them. Does anyone here have any experience with their build quality/reliability?
