totally agree.....in the ad line it says the core tone of the OD series but that doesn't say much at all. Its already been out a couple of years and still no clips

The AXE FX2 is an awesome unit man. Yeah of course its not as plug and play as a real valve amp but it will get you ANY TONE you want at ANY VOLUME you want, which is the reason I got one. Sure I wish I could get myself a Diezel VH4 with a 4x12 but that would be ridiculous as Im not in a band...

IMO you can't really try to "justify" a purchase like this. I mean can anyone justify purchasing a sports car for example? Nooo....its for your enjoyment and pleasure. Lifes too short....buy and enjoy...but only if you can afford and its not on credit.
